From South Carolina Department of Commerce - March 18, 2008

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The South Carolina Department of Commerce and the Lancaster County Economic Development Office today announced that Integrated Healthcare Solutions (IHS) will locate a new facility in Lancaster County. This announcement follows the announcement last week that the URS Washington Division will locate the URS Nuclear Center in Lancaster County creating 400 new jobs. IHS offers a complete, cost-effective electronic medical records and practice management solutions. The company will invest approximately $470,000 and create 35 new high-paying jobs.

"The decision to move both our headquarters and data center facilities to Lancaster County contributes to our organization's long-term growth strategy to secure and enhance our current market position. Our selection was further facilitated by Lancaster's proximity to one of the southeast's largest cities as well as the support of state and local development agencies. We thank the State of South Carolina and local development authorities for their support and commitment to our organization."
- Gary Hamilton, President of Integrated Healthcare Solutions

"As we work to compete in the global economy, our ability to diversify our economy and enhance the skills within our workforce is increasingly important. Today's announcement speaks to our success in that regard. As well, it demonstrates that our efforts to improve the state's economic soil conditions are working to attract investment and create new jobs. We remain committed to continuing these efforts to keep growing opportunities throughout South Carolina," said Gov. Mark Sanford.

Integrated Healthcare Solutions delivers an extraordinary solution to hospitals and physician group practices looking for RHIO (Regional Health Information Organizations)/clinical interoperability solutions as well as electronic medical record (EMR) systems and advanced practice management systems. IHS has consistently created value for physician groups by effectively becoming a single-source for bundled (EMR, EPM, Interoperability, Benchmarking, and Revenue Cycle Management) software solutions. IHS has addressed the two most significant hurdles which have either prevented or limited the migration of physicians to these state-of-the-art systems - cost and technology burdens.

"Integrated Healthcare Solutions delivers an array of healthcare information solutions for hospital and physician practices and has been recognized as a best-in-class provider for its services. The company's decision to locate in South Carolina demonstrates the strength of our workforce and the diversity of our economy. Thanks to the team effort of state and local officials, this investment will bring new high-paying jobs that will have a lasting impact in Lancaster County,"
- Joe Taylor, Secretary of Commerce

"Lancaster County is excited about IHS's decision to locate in Lancaster County. This project is just one of many corporate office projects to have located in the Indian Land area over the past five years due to our location near Charlotte and our low cost of doing business. We welcome IHS and look forward to a long and prosperous relationship," said Rudy Carter, Lancaster County Council Chairman.

IHS has a dedicated team that possesses decades of collective experience in healthcare informatics and technology solutions. The totality of this solution continues when combined with the resources necessary to provide training, data management/consulting services, and longitudinal maintenance for mission-critical healthcare information systems.
